We are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Professional to join an established team within supplier quality. The role involves overall responsibility for driving and coordinating deviations and improvement work with suppliers in specific purchasing areas. You will work closely with both internal functions and external suppliers to ensure high quality and stable delivery precision.
Focus of this assignment: The role has a clearer focus on claims, cost basis, and systematic supplier follow-up. You will ensure correct documentation for any supplier claims, monitor supplier performance in quality forums, and analyze data to identify trends and recurring deviations.
An important part of the job will be to create and maintain internal contacts with other parts of the department and the company to ensure the right operational conditions and high customer satisfaction among internal customers.
The assignment can also be combined with strategic elements in the role of Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), where you will work with strategic purchasing on the qualification of suppliers and products. The team consists of about 20 people, with both SQA and SQE roles represented.
Your responsibilities
In the role of Supplier Quality Assurance, you will, for specific purchasing areas and suppliers:
Coordinate and drive activities to ensure that the right action is taken at the right time through the various phases of the deviation report.
Ensure that suppliers conduct correct root cause analyses (RCA) and that implemented actions prevent recurrence.
Actively analyze statistics related to supplier-caused quality deficiencies to verify and validate actions taken and detect any recurring deviations.
Prepare documentation and statistics for recurring meetings such as Supplier Performance Review, NCC Q-gate, and supplier meetings.
Actively contribute to continuous improvements by developing processes and driving process development and supplier development within your area of responsibility.
Since suppliers are a natural extension of the business, you will act as the spider in the web internally as well as between the business and respective suppliers. You will ensure the right driving and documentation through the phases of the deviation:
Register
Analyze
Take action
Implement and monitor
As a coordinator, you will also ensure that the correct cost basis is available for any claims against suppliers.
Expected deliveries
Stable and quality-assured follow-up of deviations and supplier performance.
Correct and complete cost basis for claims and follow-up against suppliers.
Trend and root cause analyses based on quality data and supplier outcomes.
Professional reports and decision support for recurring quality forums.
Implemented improvement initiatives within processes and supplier collaborations.
Your profile
A few years of work experience in production, business development, purchasing, quality, or related fields.
Good experience in deviation management, follow-up, and quality control.
Analytical and structured – enjoys working with data, statistics, and root cause analysis.
Understands how different functions within a company interact and how collaboration can be strengthened.
Very good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
Personal qualities
Positive, outgoing, and relationship-building.
Self-driven with a strong focus on improvement and a humble attitude.
Thrives in coordinating roles with many contact points.
Enjoys creating structure, following up diligently, and achieving goals together with others.
